St James' is a thriving church school in the heart of Burnley. We seek to inspire each individual to flourish, grow and learn with Jesus at the heart of all we do.

We are seeking to appoint a committed, reliable and self-motivated Class Teacher who will use their own initiative. The successful candidate will be pro-active and fully involved in the life of the school.

Essential Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status

Degree

Evidence of recent and relevant training applicable

Desirable Qualifications

Full and active member of Churches Together in England.

Essential Experience

Recent and relevant successful teaching experience in a primary school.

Have the proven ability to visibly differentiate for the learning needs of all children

Desirable Experience

Recent effective classroom practice in a mixed age class.

Experience of subject leadership in one or more areas, including identifying needs, planning, monitoring and evaluating standards.
