St Mary & St Andrew's Catholic Primary School is a school we are proud of. The Governors are looking to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our school family, working with our wonderful teachers and happy children.

HLTA Position:

This role will be to fulfil PPA cover three afternoons a week in KS2 (Mon, Tue & Thu 1pm-3:30pm) This role could be combined with the TA2a Vacancy currently advertised.

Fixed Term Contract:  5 January 2023 – 21 July 2023

7.5hrs per week term time only 

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 1pm – 3:30pm

Salary: Grade 7 Scale point 19-25 £25,927- £32,020 (FTE to be paid pro-rata)

The successful candidate will be flexible and have the confidence to support learning of the National Curriculum across all year groups up to year 6, experience in upper KS2 would be beneficial.

Essential Qualifications
  • Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
