The Headteacher and Governing Body of Lever House Primary School are looking to appoint an inspirational class teacher to join our highly skilled team.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and passionate teacher to progress their career.

  • Be passionate about children's learning and welfare, forging strong relationships with parents and our wider school family.
  • Be a committed team player, demonstrating flexibility, co-operation and a willingness to take an active role in school life both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour for all pupils (including children with SEND).
  • Have recent experience teaching KS1 pupils.
  • Be a reflective practitioner who is open to new ideas and is responsive to feedback.
  • Have experience of teaching in a KS1 classroom effectively to raise standards. 
  • Uses effective and sequential planning, ongoing assessment and adaptive teaching to ensure every child makes good progress.
  • Use IT creatively to enhance learning opportunities (or be willing to learn).
