Summary
 The Governors are seeking to appoint a new TA2b to join our dedicated existing team and support a pupil with an educational health care plan. The successful candidate will support a Year 3 pupil during the mornings  We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children with additional needs in KS2. The successful applicant would need to work well as part of  a team, be enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting our catholic ethos
.The hours of work are 8.35-12.20 Mon-Fri.

The successful applicant must be prepared to work flexibly and efficiently to meet the demands of the role, which will include

  • In liaison with teachers, planning, assessing and reporting on long and short term intervention target, delivered to individual/groups of learners as identified by the Senior Management Team.
  • Co-ordinating and delivering input to meet the sensory needs of learners across school, including the use of the Multi-Sensory Environment.
  • Assessing and implementing appropriate assistive technology programmes to meet a range of communication needs.
  • Supporting staff to implement programmes, in areas such as Visual Impairments, Hearing Impairments and Speech and Language.

  • Essential Qualifications

    NVQ level 2 or above qualification (or equivalent).

    GCSE grade C 9minimum) or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics.

    Desirable Qualifications

    NVQ level 3.

    First Aid

    Safeguarding training

    Desirable Experience

    Experience of working with children with SEND.

    Experience of working in a classroom environment.

    Experience of working across key stages.
