Summary
The Governing Board at Staghills Nursery School are looking to appoint a committed and highly motivated SBSO who will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy school office.  

General duties will include

welcoming parents and visitors 

dealing with telephone enquiries 

maintaining the pupil data base

following the financial processes for ordering and invoicing

updating the school financial system 

maintaining the schools Single Central Record of pre-appointment safeguarding checks

using the schools IT systems for maintaining payments, extended services and communicating with parents

Visits to the school are encouraged.

A commitment to transition meeting for handover is required (times negotiable).

Essential Experience

Proven success in an admin role in a school office.

Proven experience with Microsoft software.

Excellent interpersonal skills (both in person and on the phone).

Knowledge of the use of social media to promote the school, including maintaining a school website.

Understanding of the importance of providing a welcoming and professional 'front face' of the school. 

Desirable Experience

Experience of school admin systems e.g. SIMS and Finance.

Knowledge of HR and Payroll systems.
