Charles Saer Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a fun, friendly and professional Manager. We provide a high-quality after school provision for children aged 4-11 that attend Charles Saer Primary School.  We have a fantastic reputation and have excellent relationships with the families whom we support with this provision and most importantly… the children in our care! The role of the Breakfast and After School Club Manager is to deliver a high-quality childcare service. This requires the management and support of the Club team, resources, and processes to ensure the smooth running of the club and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment
  • Providing comprehensive care for the children including collecting them from classrooms and delivering them safely to parents/carers. 
  • Providing snacks and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
  • Administering first aid when necessary.
  • Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment.
  • Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
  • Providing support and supervision to play workers and other staff, including volunteers.
  • Promoting and advertising on the school Facebook page.
  • Administration and record keeping, including staff and child records, financial records, ordering and purchasing and working within an agreed budget.
  • Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the club, with schools, and especially with parents.
  • Undertake appropriate and relevant training
  • Monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment.
  • Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures.

    Hours: 23.25 hrs per week Monday to Friday.
