Summary
Westhead Lathom St James’ CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team. The role would be to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in during the lunch break. The successful candidate will be nurturing and have good relationship building skills.

The hours are 7.5 hours per week, 11:45am – 1:15pm.

We are looking for a welfare assistant who:
  • Is calm, patient and nurturing
  • Is resilient, committed and flexible and able to ‘think on their feet’
  • Builds excellent relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Is fun and will engage in playtimes with the pupil they are supporting
