White Ash successfully meets the needs of pupils with a diverse range of special educational needs from the ages of 2 to 11 years old. We are a happy, nurturing and successful school. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) to support our SEN pupils across all phases in school. The successful applicant must be able to form positive relationships with children and young people and be willing to undertake various tasks to support our pupils including: helping within class, assistance at lunchtimes, play duties. Our young people have a wide range of complex learning difficulties so a kind and caring attitude is essential.
The hours are 32.5 hours per week. Term time only plus inset days. As the position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, if successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis. This is a permanent position.
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8.45am-3.45pm. Wednesday 8.45am-4.30pm. Friday 8.45am-3pm.
