Summary
The Governing Board of Ightenhill Primary School are looking for enthusiastic, child-centred Teaching Assistant to join our inclusion team.

We are a school which is built on relationships and these are based around our seven school values of Ambition, Cooperation, Honesty, Kindness, Resilience, Respect and Responsibility.

Our Teaching Assistants support pupils learning and also support our pupils wider pastoral needs. To work with us at Ightenhill you need to be committed to 'making a difference' for each and every child in our setting. We recognise the challenges that our school community face and are ambitious for all our pupils to thrive and achieve in school.

This role includes 2.5 hours of lunchtime support.

Our Teaching Assistants are key members of our team, they work with groups of pupils, deliver interventions, support individual children and have pastoral roles on our inclusion team. You will need to be adaptable, patient, empathetic, organised and most importantly possess a positive mindset and be willing to learn and grow with our children. If you feel you have the energy and commitment to help our children to 'be the best they they can be' then we would like to meet you.

Please contact school to arrange to have a look around and to find out more about life at Ightenhill. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
